Our Story

OUR STORY

Our trajectory began in 2018 with the emergence of the popularity of peanut-flavored whiskeys. The thought had occurred that a commercially available peanut butter rum should also be introduced to the spirit world. After a lengthy and exhaustive search, it was clear that peanut butter rum did not exist beyond boutique-level offerings.

Peanut butter is made with roasted peanuts emulsified with extracts of sugar cane, molasses, or agave. Rum is a distillate of sugar cane, molasses, or agave. It was a natural fit!

The pairing of both was an exiting idea and launched our journey. Thirteen iterations and over two years later, we humbly present PB Rum.

OUR PROCESS

During our journey of education and experimentation, it was important to produce a product that would not present side effects by using peanuts in our formula. We discovered nut allergies have tripled over the past 20 years, impacting the current and emerging generation of spirit consumers.

Recognizing this, we insisted on using natural and artificial peanut-flavored extracts which were certified as safe for our clients.  That way, we offered a smooth, great-tasting spirit without any risk to our patrons.  The outcome was a resounding success, providing us the confidence to provide you, your friends, families, and associates the best experience possible.
