Peanut Butter Rum Hot Chocolate



PEANUT BUTTER HOT CHOCOLATE is a decadent cocktail made with chocolate liqueur, creme de cocoa, peanut butter rum, and heavy cream.


  • 16 ounces hot chocolate, divided
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter, divided (Optional)
  • 2 ounces PB RUM, divided
  • Whipped cream
  • Reese’s Cups for garnish
  • Chocolate syrup (Optional)
  • Caramel Sauce (Optional)


  1. Crush Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup till very the texture is fine then onto a plate.
  2. Divide the hot chocolate between 2 mugs.
  3. Add the creamy peanut butter stir briskly. (if allergic to peanuts, skip this step and add chocolate syrup as a substitute)
  4. Add the PB rum and stir gently.
  5. Add whipped cream and garnish the mug with a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.
  6. To use a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup as a garnish cut a small V in it and place it on side of the mug after the whipped cream.

Optional: Add Caramel Sauce on the top of the whip cream.
